That night, I left work promptly at six o’clock, much to Rosa and the rest of the staff’s amazement. I told myself that I was being stupid for seeing Lance again. He was way out of my league, but I didn’t care.

The other part of me told that part to shut up.

At home in the shower, I let the hot water soothe and relax the muscles in my body, releasing some of the tension. There was so much pent-up sexual tension inside of me as I thought of Lance that I thought of taking an extra-long shower, but I wanted to be ready when he arrived.

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body, cinching it up between my breasts. Then I headed to my closet and combed through it, wondering what I was going to wear.

We were going to his casino, so dressing up was a must. A moment later, I spotted the short, red dress that I had bought when I went shopping not long ago.

I slid the silky dress over my frame, and it accentuated my curves in all the right places. I turned to look in the mirror and the dress fell just below my ass, showing off my long legs. It was over the top—a typical “fuck me” dress—and I almost took it off, but I felt sexy in it. Tonight, I felt like being wild.

Perfect.

I dug out the matching five-inch, red stiletto heels and looked in the mirror again. Yes, this was definitely the dress.

After drying my hair and brushing it out, I let it fall into waves down my back, coming to rest just below my bra strap. Then I applied makeup, just enough to bring out my features.

When I was ready, I appraised myself in the mirror and smiled, satisfied with my efforts. I hadn’t felt this sexy in a while. Then I looked at the clock and it was seven forty-five. Good. I had time to spare.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang, taking me by surprise, although I didn’t know why. I guess a part of me expected Lance to come in through the window the way he had left. I chuckled at the thought as I grabbed a black silk shawl, threw it over my arm, and headed down the stairs.

I flung the door open wide and Lance was standing in the doorway in all his perfection. His dark hair waved just to his collar, pushed back away from his gorgeous green eyes. He wore a tight black leather jacket, unzipped, with a white collared shirt beneath and matching black leather pants. He looked good enough to eat.

“Well, don’t you look stunning?” He let out a low whistle, leaning against the doorframe.

“Thank you. So do you.” A smile lit my lips. “Would you like to come in?”

“Thank you, but no.” His smooth, sexy voice sent chills over my body. He slid his fingers around my waist and slowly pulled me to him. Then he looked down at me, directly into my eyes.
